Spring is a wonderful, life-affirming moment wherever you may find yourself living --- in this case, for me, near Blue Springs, Missouri, a mere 15-minute jaunt east of Kansas City. I hear the winter was especially harsh for Ohio Valley folks. Not so here: only a cumulative eight inches fell in the Kansas City metro area. Mild for me, harsh for the natives. (Photo by Jeff M)
