Can you even imagine what it must have been like for the very first Indian(s) to have walked up to this magnificent sight? To hear the roar from afar and to see the mist rise above the tree line. How awesome that would have been. Or maybe it was more like, "Oh shit jump out of the canoe something big comes our way!" -LOL-
This shot brings to mind that movie, "Niagara," (I think it is) with Marilyn Monroe. Something about the silhouettes reminds me of the old movie theaters. I loved that movie, tho. Great photo. I love going to Niagara and, like the other poster, can't even imagine what the first people who saw it thought. It takes my breath away every time, without fail. So majestic.
