This photograph (which for the record was intentional, though I was uncertain of the quality) was taken while I was riding a small toy train with my children in North Kansas City. Located on an acre of land, the train delivers approximately 200 riders through a tunnel and over a bridge in under three minutes. As this photograph shows, we are halfway through the tunnel. My children's heads are immediately in front of me and the man sitting in front of them sits as if he is preparing for his answers to life. The light swallows us.

Sometimes the best looking photos are mistakes.
