QUITE

My wife Susan is quite liberal.
I may look as long as I
do not touch.
She is good to me. She's good.
Yes, I may peruse though not pursue.
But Susan has no sense of humor.
After the incident I tried to explain
"But darling the difference between
peruse and pursue
is only a swapping of vowels..."
And quite calmly she replied
"No, funny man,
the difference is between
a ruse and a Sue..."
Well.
Well, this apartment's quite nice.
